I started at Chuck & Don's in January of 2018. I have had a passion for pets since I was just three years old and spend most of my free time with my three amazing Cattle Dogs!

Hi, I'm Cynthia! I grew up in New Mexico, riding bikes and horses. I knew I wanted a career working with animals early on after my dad brought home our first dog Rocky, a German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix. My dog Gizmo also inspired my grooming career – he is very high maintenance as a Bichon/Shih Tzu mix. I fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a certified dog groomer at Dogs’ Own Grooming school in Loveland, Colorado! Since graduating, I've attended two Rocky Mountain Groom Expos and taken additional classes in subjects including coat care, senior dog training and coat carving. I've worked under several master groomers locally and have even done mobile grooming in Denver. I believe a patient and quiet nature goes a long way in grooming. Hello! I’m Kat, a Colorado native who found my calling over a decade ago: grooming dogs. I’ve owned Bichons, and one very special Havanese, since I was 15 and am currently raising my sixth Bichon: Toni "Bee" Jane. I’ve rescued and rehomed over 50 dogs, including Great Pyrenees, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Beagles, Boston Terriers, Havanese, Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus and a Japanese Chin. As groomers, it’s our job to work with every dog to help them feel comfortable. I attend classes in person and online to stay informed and learn new techniques and handling skills. I specialize in shy and senior dogs, those who need some extra time and patience, and am just as happy doing breed standard cuts as simple pet trims. I will always do what’s best for your dog's skin and coat, give them lots of love and help them look their best.
